Best Paper Award for "#Trending Topics in Careers" Paper

I am very honored and proud to have been awarded an Emerald Literati Outstanding Paper Award for the Career Development International Best Paper 2017. Our review of recent career research, entitled "#Trending Topics in Careers: A Review and Future Research Agenda", was chosen as the most influential and impactful paper in CDI in 2017. The paper has already been downloaded over 1.100 times since it was published in October 2017!

It is really great that this paper was granted the award, as it was an incredibly fun project to do, working with two Master students and ultimately reviewing 693 papers in Career Development International, Career Development Quarterly, Journal of Career Assessment, and Journal of Career Development. We found that career success was the most popular career topic in recent years. Career decision making and employability came in at number 2 and 3, respectively. For each of the 16 trending topics, we also formulated an agenda for future research, which we hope will inspire scholars with their future work.
