New Article: Strengthening Connections Between Graduate Employability and Worker Employability
Together with William Donald, Denise Jackson, and Anneleen Forrier, I published a new article in Career Development International entitled "Are we talking about the same thing? The case for stronger connections between graduate and worker employability research." In this invited viewpoint article, we present the case for stronger connections between the fields of graduate employability (mainly situated in educational research) and worker employability (mainly situated in careers and psychology research). Our overview of the literature shows that the concepts and theories used in the two fields are remarkably similar, yet we barely connect them. Therefore, we urge our colleagues to build these connections more often and more actively.
